How to Select a Stainless Steel Turnbuckle
Match the end fittings
Identify the connection at both ends: fork, eye, hook or a cable terminal. Record pin diameter, opening width and the dimensions of the mating part. A product photograph is useful for identification, but a drawing is needed to confirm fit.
Check thread and adjustment dimensions
Give the thread size and hand, and the required installed length and adjustment range. Distinguish the body length from the overall length shown on the product drawing. Ask the supplier to confirm permissible adjustment and thread engagement for the exact model.
Confirm the application and rating
Provide the direction of load and operating conditions. Crosby’s published turnbuckle guidance specifies straight or in-line pull for its products. Do not transfer another manufacturer’s load rating to a Xinghai fitting, or treat a dimensional table as a certified working-load rating.
Prepare a complete request
Send the product code, end configuration, material grade, drawing dimensions, quantity and required inspection documents. For lifting or other safety-critical use, obtain model-specific ratings and approval of the complete assembly before ordering.
